All of it is available with NBA 2K22. While these extracurricular pursuits rarely extend beyond a few cute cutscenes and fetch quests It's an interesting addition given many of the conversations and choices are about life outside of the NBA and what is meant by being more than just an athlete.

Unfortunately MyCareer is a bit of a mess. MyCareer mode has fallen victim to several pitfalls that have plagued the series for many years. Because your performance during games is built on the same grade system seen in previous iterations and you're frequently punished for situations that are completely out of your control.
For instance, your team could be assigned to protect one particular opponent, but when confronted by a screen you choose to fight over it and then follow the designated player.Randomly, this assigned player is switched to the person who screened your player, who, after running across the other side of the court.
This court is no longer supervised and is now open. You are punished with severe "leave defensive assignment" and 'defensive breakdown' penalties which hurt your performance grade and aren't your fault. It's not a huge issue but one that's been lingering long enough to get me annoyed and cause me to bring it up it here.
