(SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Bucks will try to get another win on this homestand Thursday night when they welcome the Utah Jazz to the Bradley Center. The Bucks are 1-1 on this current residency, which will end Saturday against the Detroit Pistons. Milwaukee toppled the New York Knicks to start the stay, then fell to the Toronto Raptors on Monday. Toronto prevailed 92-89, although the Bucks made valiant efforts to try and steal the win. Milwaukee took a one-point lead midway through the fourth, but the Raptors countered with a 7-0 run. Three more times the Bucks got within a point, but couldnt get over the hump. Khris Middletons layup with 49 seconds left made it 88-87, but late in the shot clock at the other end, Terrence Ross hit a baseline jumper. Brandon Knight then got a difficult layup to fall and the Bucks allowed Ross to get behind the defense for an uncontested dunk with 15 seconds to play. Knight had a clean look from 3 to tie the game after a terrific pick by Ersan Ilyasova, but it was off the mark and Kyle Lowry secured the rebound. He missed two free throws to leave the door open, but O.J. Mayo lost the ball trying to rush it up the court as the game ended. We felt good, but we have to get better at our pace and rebounding the ball, said Bucks coach Jason Kidd. Knight had 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in the setback, posting at least those numbers for the third straight game. Ilyasova chipped in 14 in a reserve role. Ilyasova is expected to return to the starting lineup Thursday after coming off the bench in his first two games back from a long absence due to a concussion. Mayo added 13 in the loss. The Jazz are 0-2 on their road trip, which ends on Thursday. Utah fell to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, then lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 106-92, on Wednesday. Were not a great offensive team, and when some of our best offensive players have off nights its difficult for us to score, Jazz coach Quinn Snyder said. They scored 40 points in the first half three days after getting just 27 in the first 24 minutes of an 89-69 loss at San Antonio, their worst offensive game of the season. Enes Kanter had 24 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Jazz, who have dropped five of their last six. Gordon Hayward added 14, followed by 12 apiece from Derrick Favors and Elijah Millsap, and 10 from Elliot Williams. Utahs starting backcourt of Joe Ingles and Trey Burke combined for just five points on 2-for-14 shooting. The two squads have split the last four meetings with the home team victorious. The Bucks are 4-1 in their last five as the host in this series. Cito Gaston Jersey . It was just time for him to make a big play. Nicolas Batum had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Wesley Matthews scored 18 points, and the Trail Blazers overcame poor-shooting nights by two of their best players in a 94-90 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday. J.A. Happ Jersey . On Tuesday, the star questioned whether that was still the case. Speaking to reporters at a charity event, Johnson said: "I just kind of wonder sometimes: Is this still the place for me?" Johnsons comments came after he was asked why he recently skipped a voluntary minicamp. https://www.cheapbluejays.com/3626h-jerry-garvin-jersey-blue-jays.html . Thats what he did over the past 2 1/2 years with the Washington Wizards. Wittmans approach helped turn the Wizards from pushover to playoff winners. Devon Travis Blue Jays Jersey . -- First baseman Carlos Pena and outfielder Brennan Boesch have signed minor league deals with the Los Angeles Angels. Julian Merryweather Jersey .C. -- The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday theyve signed free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery to a two-year contract, helping rebuild a depleted wide receiving corps.PHILADELPHIA -- Kyle Kendrick has to wait an extra day to start another home opener. The Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers enjoyed an unexpected day off Monday without having to sit around in their uniforms and wait through rain delays. A gloomy forecast forced postponement of their game 25 hours before the scheduled start. When the teams meet Tuesday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park, Kendrick (0-0) will face former Phillies pitcher Kyle Lohse (0-1). Itll be Kendricks second straight start in the home opener. "The fans are going to be excited and Im looking forward to it," he said. "Well be back home for the first time this year and hopefully we can get a win. Thats the main thing." The Phillies went 3-3 in their first six games at Texas and the Chicago Cubs. Bullpen breakdowns cost them two games against the Rangers, including closer Jonathan Papelbons eighth blown save since 2013. But the offence got off to a surprisingly strong start after a miserable spring. The Phillies are batting .276 and averaging 5.2 runs per game. After hitting just .217 with three extra-base hits and three RBIs in Florida, Chase Utley found his groove once the games started to count. He already has three doubles, two homers, six RBIs and a .458 average. Dominic Brown is hitting .381, Jimmy Rollins has six RBIs in four games and the team has seven homers. "Chase is a perfect example of why we dont worry as much as everybody else worries," general Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "When the bell ringgs and the lights are major league lights and the background, those guys are ready to turn on the switch.dddddddddddd" The Brewers (4-2) are coming in after a three-game sweep of the defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. It could be a welcome trip to Philadelphia for Ryan Braun, who has only three singles in 20 at-bats. The 2011 NL MVP has had more success against the Phillies than any other team. He has a career average of .386 with a .430 on-base percentage, .690 slugging percentage, 14 homers and 30 RBIs in 43 games vs. Philadelphia. Braun is battling a thumb injury that also bothered him last year before he served a 65-game suspension for violations of MLBs drug agreement and labour contract. Braun heard boos in Boston in his first road game since returning and surely will hear some more in Philadelphia. Lohse takes the mound for the Brewers after losing to Atlanta in his first start. The right-hander pitched for the Phillies in the second half of 2007, helping them begin their streak of five NL East titles. "That was the year we caught the Mets, when we were down seven games with 17 to play," Lohse told MLB.com. "Unfortunately, we ran into the Rockies that year, when they won 22 in a row or whatever it was to get in the playoffs. They were on fire. But I enjoyed my time (in Philadelphia). It was fun to be a part of that comeback." Both teams are trying to rebound from fourth-place finishes in 2013. The Phillies were 73-89 and the Brewers won one more game. ' ' '
